Much better
There you go - much more room! The builders will put all the gates back on Monday morning so everything will go back to normal.
D-Day is here!
And we're off! Here is a picture of the crane first thing this morning. It is going to lift each unit from the road onto the concrete pillars that you can see. Once all of the units are in place they will be bolted together.
We'll upload more photographs later!

They're cracking on!
Wow! The builders are really making progress now. They have cleared all of the tarmac from the site and are now digging out 20 or so large holes into the ground. These are being filled with concrete and will be the pillars that the main building will stand on.
We were a few days behind schedule but they have caught up!
The new building will be arriving on site next Thursday 20th June. How exciting!

It's all go!
It's the children's first day back from the holidays and the builders have built up quite some interest.
The children love watching the work developing.
The new entrance worked brilliantly this morning, which is great. Fingers crossed that 'home time' goes just as smoothly!

It's started!
Here we go then - we're off! Quite a dramatic start to be fair. The builders have certainly made their mark over the first few days.
Don't worry though - the whole site is securely fenced off so the children will be totally safe.
We'll update you regularly so keep popping back.

Here it is - our new entrance.
This is our temporary entrance for the last half term. Parents can take children in Yr R, 1 and 2 to their classrooms through this entrance. Children in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 are being asked to walk to class on their own.
The office team will be staffing this new entrance throughout the day so it's business as usual.
The builders started in site today - photos to follow ...
